Question: What makes TMJ therapy at your office so effective?
Answer: Some people suffer from a disorder of their jaw joints. This condition is referred to as having TMJ. By taking X-ray films of the jaw joints and evaluating the entire face (not just the teeth), the doctors can properly determine the correct and the healthy position of the jaw joint. This way, the doctors not only treat the symptoms of the TMJ, but also solve the cause of the problem so that the problem will not return. To learn more about TMJ therapy, click here.

Question: Do you do braces in your office?
Answer: Yes. We do both children and adult orthodontics (braces). And our office has been certified to offer Invisalign to our patients.
Question: How young can a child be before they can have braces?
Answer: We offer orthodontic therapy for children as young as 5 years old. At this time they are too young to actually have braces put on their teeth. We use Ortho-Tain positioners to help the child's teeth to grow in the right direction and line up properly in their mouths. This makes their future orthodontic needs far less involved, and sometimes they might not even need braces later.

Answer: You should see your dentist at least once every 6 months. Regular dental check ups allow detection of problems at an earlier stage.
Question: How long should I wait before I take my baby to the dentist?
Answer: By the time your child is 2 years old, he or she should have all
of their baby teeth. It is a good time to take them to the dentist just
to get them used to the environment. Most children find a dental office
setting a little threatening. Therefore, if you start taking them there
early on in their lives, they will grow accustomed to it and not be
threatened by it as much.

This in turn leads to irritation of your gums resulting in
gum disease.
