Answer: We can accept any insurance (either PPO or Indemnity Plan) that allows you to choose your own dentist. We are also providers for various dental insurances.

Question: I need a lot of dental work, but I am afraid I cannot afford it! What do I do?

Answer: We accept Discover, Visa and MasterCard and AMEX. We also offer financing through CareCredit and Chase Financial Solutions. You will fill out a short credit application and getting approved takes a matter of minutes. The amount of the credit extended to you by the financing company depends on your credit history. Question: Do you only perform cosmetic dentistry at your office?

Answer: No. We perform all phases of dentistry. Our focus is always on maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile which are both components of cosmetic dentistry.

Question: Do you do braces in your office?

Answer: Yes. We do both children and adult orthodontics (braces).  And our office has been certified to offer Invisalign to our patients.

Question: How early can a child have braces?

Answer: We offer orthodontic therapy for children as young as 5 years old. At this time they are too young to actually have braces put on their teeth. We use Ortho-Tain positioners to help the child's teeth to grow in the right direction and line up properly in their mouths. This makes their future orthodontic needs far less involved, and sometimes they might not even need braces later.

Question: Do you do implants at your office?

Answer: Yes. We can place the dental implant as well as the implant crown in most cases. In extreme cases, another specialist will be utilized in placing the dental implant.

Question: I am really nervous when I go to the dentist. What are my choices?

Answer: Some people have had less than pleasant dental experiences in the past. Have no fear! Sedation Dentistry is here. For more information on this safe and effective procedure click here.

Question: I used to have whiter teeth a few years ago. They seem to have gotten yellow and darker over time. Can I do anything to get my white teeth back?

Answer: Yes. There are many ways to make your teeth whiter again. Over 90% of people benefit from bleaching their teeth. For more information on having your teeth whitened in as little as ONE HOUR, click here. For information on home bleaching, click here.

Question: I have always wanted straight teeth. I am no longer in my teens. Can I still get braces if I wanted to?

Answer: Yes. You can have braces regardless of your age. In fact, more people get braces as they get older because they can afford it. We offer both traditional braces and Invisalign. By getting braces, we can close gaps in between teeth. We can move teeth into a more favorable location. Generally, braces result in a better facial profile and improve the self image of the individual.

Question: What is the Zoom procedure I keep hearing about?

Answer: Zoom is a revolutionary tooth whitening system that we offer. Using this technique, your teeth will be whitened in as little as one hour. This procedure is performed in the dental office. To learn more about Zoom, click here.

Question: How often should I see my dentist?

Answer: You should see your dentist at least once every 6 months. Regular dental check ups allow detection of problems at an earlier stage.

Question: How long should I wait before I take my baby to the dentist?

Answer: By the time your child is 2 years old, he or she should have all of their baby teeth. It is a good time to take them to the dentist just to get them used to the environment. Most children find a dental office setting a little threatening. Therefore, if you start taking them there early on in their lives, they will grow accustomed to it and not be threatened by it as much.

Question: Is flossing really that important for my teeth?

Answer: Yes. Flossing is the most effective way to clean the spaces between your teeth. If you are not flossing your teeth, you're leaving a lot of plaque and bacteria to fester and multiply between your teeth. This in turn leads to irritation of your gums resulting in gum disease.

Question: How often should I be flossing my teeth?

Answer: You should floss your teeth at least once every other day. Obviously, the more you floss your teeth the better. If you are interested in improving the health of your gums, click here.

Question: When I drink cold or hot drinks, my teeth are sensitive. Why is that?

Answer: Teeth are sensitive for various reasons. Sometimes, they are sensitive because of your brushing habits. If you have had gum disease which has resulted in recession of your gums, a more sensitive part of your tooth is exposed. Another reason for temperature sensitivity are cavities. It is best to see your dentist to determine what is causing your sensitivity.

Question: Is Platinum Dental, Inc. part of a chain?

Answer: No. While there are several dental offices operating under this name, they are in no way affiliated with our office.
