Home Bleaching (At-Home Whitening)
Home Bleaching is a tested and proven method for whiter teeth.
This procedure typically takes about 7 to 10 days to complete. At
your first visit, we take models of your teeth. Using these
models, custom “bleaching trays” are fabricated for your teeth.
These “trays” are made specifically for your teeth and therefore are
quite comfortable. The bleaching trays are made of a very thin,
clear plastic material which is practically invisible.
You will load the bleaching gel into the trays on a daily basis and proceed to wear the trays in your mouth. The trays need to be worn for at least 6 hours at a time for the bleaching gel to have its maximum effect. Usually, these trays are worn at night time, while you go to bed. However, they can also be worn during the day.
